Minimalism #6 Basics in the Bathroom

The basics

I was a woman that had a multitude of products in the bathroom that were supposed to make me feel beautiful, smell better, and pamper me.  The clutter started to weigh me down and the stress of buying all that stuff tipped me over the edge. Now there is plenty of space, hot water and this short list that does everything I need:

Baking Soda
Coconut Oil
Italian Bar Soap
Essential Oils: Bergamot, Peppermint, and Lavendar

I have four wide-mouthed, shallow jars that I keep in the bathroom with these combinations in them:

Baking soda, coconut oil, and peppermint essential oil.
I use this for toothpaste and foot scrub. ( I use a clean teaspoon each time to scoop out just what I need.)

Coconut oil and bergamot essential oil.
I use this combo as a daytime moisturizer for face and body. I also run it through my hair after washing for conditioning and frizz control.

Coconut oil and lavender essential oil.
I use this at night for a nighttime moisturizer for face and body.

Coconut oil, baking soda, and bergamot.
I use this for deodorant and as a facial scrub. (I use a clean teaspoon each time to scoop out just what I need)

The Italian Bar Soap is very mild so I can use it for body as well as hair. There are plenty of similar alternatives that would do the same job. This eliminates the need for plastic bottles, bathroom organizers, and saves time that I would normally have spent trying to find things. My hair and skin are the healthiest they have ever been.
